The diaspora from Turkey forms the sixth largest group of migrants in Switzerland. About 120,000 people who come from Turkey live here. Despite this large number, people in Switzerland know very little about the cultural, religious, and language diversity as well as the socio-economic situation and the conditions in the country of origin of this group of migrants.
