Nepalese children belonging to the caste of the Dalit (the so called “untouchables”) are often disadvantaged when it comes to access to, and remaining in, public schools. The Nepalese Dalit Welfare Organization (DWO) and SAD are running a project to alleviate the situation. A documentary film by DWO details the project and illustrates its background. |

The earthquake that struck the Iranian city of Bam on 26 December 2003 shattered the daily lives of survivors, destroyed social networks, and caused large-scale emotional stress and trauma. Since mid-2004, SAD has been promoting psycho-social rehabilitation processes in Bam by means of sport and game activities. Seea video by Swiss Television.
